Tina Johnston, LPC, NCC, EVGP, GCDF, MCC
Director

Ms. Johnston is a Psychotherapist and Career Counselor, and holds credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor,  Educational and Vocational Guidance Practitioner,  Certified School Counselor, Global Career Development Facilitator, and Master Career Counselor. Ms. Johnston received her Masters degree of Education in Counseling at the University of North Texas and her Bachelors degree of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. After a long career in business in a variety of roles, she served Texas public school students first as a certified teacher, then later, as a school counselor. Ms. Johnston draws heavily from her experience in the corporate world as well as public education. As well as being knowledgeable about educational opportunities available and how to prepare students for a future career, she understands first-hand the needs of the business community in regards to a future workforce.

Ms. Johnston is particularly passionate about Career Counseling and the relationship between Career and Life. Personal issues can seriously affect productivity at work, and stress from one's job can affect one's health and family. Career Counseling is not about finding a job. It is about discovery – about the world of work, about yourself, your passions and talents, your personal goals, and finding purpose.
